You can help out and show your support by trapping pest animals.
There are a number of introduced species in New Zealand that cause damage to our native birds and forests.
- Millions of possums destroy our native forests.
- DOC estimates that 25 million birds die annually, due to destruction by stoats, rats and ferrets.
An important part of conservation, is trapping and removal of these pests.
