Whacking great big trap

Put this out on the first night and woke to find all the bait had gone. Probably rats or mice. It's now in the shed being surrounded by small square chicken wire.

One comment that I would make is that the photographic construction instructions aren't as clear as the could be. However, we are DIY veterans so finally worked it out by dint of looking at pictures on line.

Dog Trap

Very robust, and heavily galvanized, like the trigger plate set up for trapping the dog.
So far only caught a cat but it's early days yet
